Talking Therapies is a national NHS programme designed to increase the availability of talking therapy treatments.Talking Therapies seeks to use the least intrusive method of care possible to treat people. This is often called a ‘stepped care model’ and means that the patient is generally offered a low-intensity therapy in the first instance. Examples of low-intensity treatment would include computerised cognitive behavioral therapy (cCBT), psycho-educational courses, guided self-help, etc

Minor Eye Conditions Service
The Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS) provides assessment and treatment for people with recently occurring minor eye problems. It is an NHS service provided by accredited optometrists (also commonly called opticians).The service is for people of all ages. Children under 16 years must be accompanied at their appointment by an adult. MSK Practitioner Service
The MSK Practitioner service is a new service for patients who are over the age of 16. Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy appointments are offered as an alternative to seeing your GP for a back, neck, muscle or trapped nerve pain. The specialist physiotherapist can assess, diagnose and offer advice and guidance on how to manage your symptoms.
BUZZ US
Compass offers a confidential text messaging service to young people aged 11-18 across North Yorkshire. The service was named in conjunction with young people and is called BUZZ US.
By texting the service on 07520 631168 you will be able to receive confidential advice, support and signposting from a wellbeing worker within one working day via text.
